It seems hard to believe that 20 years have elapsed since the release of The Same Sky by Horse. There were top 50 UK chart singles like Careful, Speed Of The Beat, You Could Be Forgiven and of course the album itself, which continues to be in demand.

This glorious and utterly unique album with beautifully crafted songs has been described as the backdrop to lives, with people falling in and out of love to it. Horse and her band will perform it in its entirety, as well as the most popular B-sides.

For those who know Horse and this stunning album, this is a chance to re-live their own memories. For those who are not as yet acquainted with the amazing performer and writer that is Horse, prepare to be astonished!

Rescheduled Gigs
23/2/2010

It is with deep regret we have to announce that Horse was admitted to hospital this morning and is now waiting to have an operation.

Horse is therefore hoping to re-schedule the last 3 shows at Huddersfield, Kirkcaldy and Milton Keynes. We will email everyone once the new dates have been confirmed. Please also check this website for any updates.

Horse is devastated at having to re-schedule these shows, as she was trying so hard to get better and was really looking forward to performing again.

We would like to reassure those who have ordered merchandise from the store that their orders are being processed and will be with them soon, albeit with a slight delay due to current circumstances.

As Horse was writing her latest album, she suffered the devastating loss of first her mother, then shortly afterward her dad. The resulting songs poignantly reflect her experience of deep loss and - in the case of her father - not being able to say goodbye. Through this cathartic writing Horse turned a terrible experience into something positive culminating in Coming Up For Air; a spiritual, sassy, and strong album and fitting tribute to those she loves.
